Notifications

Notifications keep you and your team informed about what's happening in your business like new leads, signed agreements, payments, job summaries, and more.

Accessing Notification Settings

Only admins and owners can configure notifications. To get there:

  1. Click your profile icon in the top corner

  2. Select Notifications

You'll see two sections: Admin Notifications and Member Notifications.


Notification Channels

For each event, you can choose how you're notified:

  • Push β€” mobile push notification (requires the app to be installed and signed in)

  • SMS β€” text message to your phone

  • Email β€” sent to your account email

  • Web β€” in-app notification at the top of the screen, with a link to the relevant record


Admin Notifications

These are company-wide β€” when enabled, you'll receive notifications for that event across your entire company, not just your own activity.

Leads

Event Description

Lead created

Fires when a new lead is added β€” especially useful with Facebook or other integrations

Follower notifications

Receive updates for leads you're following

Customers

Event Description

Agreement signed

Any agreement signed by a customer in your company

Service plan renewed

Fires when a service plan auto-renews after its agreed term (e.g., 12 months)

Payments

Event Description

New payment received

A payment was successfully collected

Failed payment

A payment attempt failed

Refund issued

A refund was processed

Tip received

A customer left a tip

Quotes

Event Description

Quote viewed

The customer opened the quote link

Quote approved

Customer approved the quote

Quote rejected

Customer rejected the quote

Changes requested

Customer requested changes to the quote

Jobs

Event Description

Personal daily summary

A morning summary (sent at 7 AM) of jobs assigned to you that day

Company daily summary

A morning summary (sent at 7 AM) of all jobs scheduled across the company

Communications

Event Description

SMS received

An inbound text message

Email received

An inbound email was received

Missed call

A call that wasn't answered

New call

Any incoming call

Voicemail

A new voicemail left

Tasks

Event Description

Task due

A reminder when a task is due


Member Notifications

Only owners can configure member notifications. These settings apply to all non-admin members (technicians and other staff) β€” they cannot be set individually per member at this time.

Event Description

Quote notifications

Technicians or sales reps who sold a quote receive updates on it

Tip received

Technicians assigned to a job are notified when a tip is received

Personal daily summary

Each member receives a 7 AM summary of their assigned jobs for the day

Assigned task due

Members are notified when a task assigned to them is due


Custom Notifications via Workflows

The built-in notification settings cover the most common events. For more advanced or specific use cases, you can build a custom workflow:

  1. Go to Workflows

  2. Create a trigger (e.g., "Invoice paid" or "Invoice sent")

  3. Add a Send Notification action

  4. Specify which users should receive it and write a custom message

Workflows give you full control over who gets notified, when, and what the message says.
