The Rotor MCP connects AI assistants to your Rotor account. It can look up your data, handle everyday updates, and now send messages, quotes, and invoices for you. This guide covers the basics. For the full technical reference, see the Rotor MCP documentation, which is always the most up to date.
Connect your AI assistant
Use this server URL in any AI assistant that supports custom MCP servers (connectors):
https://mcp.getrotor.com/mcp
Claude: go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it Rotor, and paste the URL above.
Grok: paste this into a chat: "Add a custom MCP server called Rotor at mcp.getrotor.com/mcp."
You'll be sent to a Rotor login screen. Sign in, pick your company (if you belong to more than one), review the permissions, and approve.
To disconnect, go to Settings → Connectors in Rotor and revoke the connection. Access ends right away.

Good to know
It only sees what you can see. The MCP uses your Rotor login, so it has the same access and permissions you do. Some actions are admin-only.
Messages go to real customers. Texts, emails, quotes, invoices, and campaigns sent through the MCP are delivered just like sending them from the app. Review before you approve.
Automations still run. Creating or editing records through the MCP can trigger your automations, just like doing it in the app.
Our Terms of Service apply. You're responsible for activity on your account, including actions an AI assistant takes for you, and for having consent to text or email your contacts. Read the full Terms of Service.
Congratulations! You know how to connect the Rotor MCP and what it can do in your account.
