Pending Jobs
Pending jobs are a way to mark that a customer is due for service at a certain time — without fully scheduling them yet. They act as a placeholder on your schedule so nothing falls through the cracks.

Why Use Pending Jobs?
Scheduling all jobs far in advance can create problems — employees, vans, and routes change over time. Pending jobs let you say "this customer needs service in December" without committing to a specific crew or time slot until you're ready.
When you create a service plan, you can choose to:
Schedule the first job only — the remaining jobs are created as pending
Schedule all jobs — every job is immediately placed on the calendar
Create pending jobs only — none are scheduled yet
Pending jobs appear on the customer's profile but can't be edited or opened — they're purely an indicator of when service should occur.
3 Ways to Manage Pending Jobs
1. From the Customer Profile When you complete a job and it's time to schedule the next one, go to the customer's service plan and schedule their next pending job directly. Pick a date, confirm, and it becomes a real scheduled job.
2. From the Pending Jobs Page Go to Service Jobs → Pending Jobs to see all upcoming pending jobs within a date range. Jobs are shown in a list and on a map, making it easy to group nearby customers and assign them to the same crew. Select jobs from the list or draw a shape on the map to select a cluster, then schedule them all at once.
3. From the Schedule Page On the right side of the schedule, a panel shows pending jobs due for the current week. Adjust the date range to plan ahead, then enable Map View to see your existing scheduled jobs alongside pending ones. In day view, you can drag a pending job directly onto the calendar to schedule it.
Tips
You don't have to use pending jobs — scheduling everything upfront is always an option. But pending jobs are a great way to stay organized without overbooking or needing to reschedule later.
The map view on the schedule page is likely the best long-term tool for managing pending jobs, letting you plan efficient routes and fill in your schedule as it makes sense.
